Census Bureau: 67.5 percent of people in Townsend were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 2,434 citizens living in Townsend in 2019, 1,642 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 813 of those people were female and 829 were male.
