Census Bureau: 78.5 percent of people in New Castle County were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 558,306 citizens living in New Castle County in 2020, 438,060 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 228,693 of those people were female and 209,367 were male.
