ChristianaCare issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.

Delaware has made the transition from all pop-up COVID-19 testing events to a large number of permanent sites, but there are still free saliva-based testing events being held each week. High demand for testing is creating delays. To reduce check-in time, pre-register at: delaware.curativeinc.com or call the number for the community testing event. Limited on-site registration will be available, but the wait time is longer.
Remember, do not eat, drink, or brush your teeth 20 minutes prior to this viral test, which detects current infection. Watch one of the following videos available in English, Spanish or Haitian-Creole to learn about how to perform the self-administered test:
English: de.gov/testing
