H-1B Insights: Employers in South New Castle News publication area file 84 petitions throughout 2024

Employers based in the South New Castle News publication area submitted 84 H-1B petitions during 2024, according to data provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-1B Employer Data Hub. Of these, 79 were approved (94%), while five were denied (6%).

Employers are classified under industries based on their reported operations and may be involved in multiple industries.

Meanwhile, the Educational Services industry was the second largest contributor, filing 20 petitions (23.8% of the total), with an approval rate of 95%.

The South New Castle News publication area employers with the most petitions during 2024 included GB Technician, Inc., which filed 23 petitions with an approval rate of 95.7%, Appoquinimink School District with 20 petitions and an approval rate of 95%, and Tek International, Inc., which filed 13 petitions with an approval rate of 92.3%.

Compared to 2023, the South New Castle News publication area saw an 82.6% increase in the number of H-1B petitions during 2024.
