On Thursday, Feb. 13, former Middletown High School standout Mitch Jolikko’s current college team, the Goldey-Beacom Lightning, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mercy Mavericks.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Lightning’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against Franklin Pierce Ravens.
