Serviam Girls Academy issued the following announcement on Oct. 12.

We are excited to announce the 2020-2021 Grant Recipients from the Anthony Penna Charitable Fund! This year’s grants are awarded in memory of Walter deBruin, Anthony’s friend, classmate, and teammate from Saint Edmond’s Academy, who passed away suddenly on September 6, 2020.

Due to COVID-19, this has been a year filled with obstacles for educators and organizations, especially when trying to keep the arts a part of the daily routine in school. We encouraged applicants to be creative in enhancing their arts programs during this unprecedented time. And, we are happy to say that they rose to the occasion. We are proud to announce this year’s grant awardees:

The Choir School of Delaware

Christ the Teacher Catholic School

Saint Edmond’s Academy

St. Elizabeth School

St. John the Beloved Catholic School

Serviam Girls Academy

The Tatnall School

Wilmington Christian School
