Serviam Girls Academy issued the following announcement on Nov. 17.

#GivingTuesday is 2 weeks away! Serviam is asking for $10,000 towards gym renovations. Giving Tuesday funds are being collected in order to preserve the historic stained glass windows. You don’t have to wait until 12/1 to help preserve an icon, join Jamestown Painting who donated over $19,000 in materials to get the renovations under way. Keep the momentum going and donate today! Out of 15,320 New Castle County students who took part in the DeSSA in the 2023-24 school year, 3,473 were considered proficient in science.
