Serviam Girls Academy issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
Today we kicked off our weekly virtual Social Equity and Inclusion Initiative discussions with great success! Students participated in small group discussions spurred by watching the first few minutes of the film “The Hate U Give.” Students shared their thoughts and emotions through words and drawings.

For the 2023-24 school year, Appoquinimink School District experienced an increase in enrollment numbers compared to the previous year, with 58 more students being enrolled.
New Castle County saw a success rate of 20.5% in the math portion of the 2023-24 SAT, with 876 students hitting the subject benchmarks.
Out of 15,320 New Castle County students who took part in the DeSSA in the 2023-24 school year, 3,473 were considered proficient in science.
