Serviam Girls Academy issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
Our 2019-2020 Impact Report features Danielle Myrie, 1 of 8 scholars in Serviam's first graduating class of 2011. Here is her story:
"When I entered Serviam in 6th grade, I was very shy. As the first Serviam students, we felt special, like pioneers setting the tone for our culture. In 8th grade, I was the school President. My Graduate Support Director taught us very valuable life lessons. The Enrichment Program allowed me to explore art and my own interest in fashion. I appreciated that is was an all-girls school; I liked being with women who wanted to stay focused and do more with their lives!"
Danielle blossomed at Serviam! "I went to Padua Academy, it was a great experience being around strong women. My economics teacher in my junior year was amazing. We are still close; we stay in touch and still get together. This is when I made the decision to go into business."
