Westside Family Healthcare issued the following announcement on Feb 26.
West Side Shines Bright will be held at Westside's 4th Street health center on Saturday, May 16th.
This event, in partnership with West Side Grows Together, is an addition to our Growing Healthy Families event series. This FREE event will connect participants with health screenings, fresh produce, FREE food, entertainment, kids activities, home safety and efficiency resources, and more! Bring the whole family!
Participants who get a health screening can visit the farm stand to pick out a bag of produce to take home. West side residents can sign up to get a new, solar powered light affixed to their front porch and sign up for home safety and efficiency checks. A free library with gently used books will be open for children to select stories to take home.
This event is FREE and open to all!
