Serviam Girls Academy issued the following announcement on May 13.
In these unprecedented times, the following remains certain: the Serviam community’s embrace of its mission is unparalleled!
*Thank you for joining us on May 1st, for your willingness to reimagine our beloved gala, and for your awe-inspiring support and commitment to exceptional education.*
A little bit about YOU and YOUR support:
- 202 individuals and businesses donated to EUS 2020, of which 46 are new to Serviam;
- The 154 returning supporters invested in 216 sponsorships and gifts totaling $160,000;
- The 46 new donors gave 55 gifts of nearly $17,000;
- Over 790 devices tuned in to watch the event.
- Of the 116 people registered on the silent auction site:
- 50 bidders placed 275 bids on 30 silent auction items raising almost $11,000; and
- 37 donors spent over $11,000, purchasing ALL available items on the school’s wish list, helping to outfit Serviam’s new science lab.
- YOU purchased over 200 stars helping Light the Way.
*Due to the generosity of so many, Evening Under the Stars expenses were kept to a minimum; remarkably, the event NETTED approximately $170,000.*
