Town of Bethany Beach issued the following announcement on April 1.
The Town of Bethany Beach is pleased to announce that 8.65 million dollars has been made available through the Infrastructure and Jobs Act, which will enable Bethany Beach and South Bethany to receive beach renourishment in the fall of 2022!
The communities of Bethany Beach and South Bethany, spanning approximately two miles of Delaware coastline, have been added to a scheduled United States Army Corp of Engineer’s storm risk management and nourishment project for Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and Fenwick Island.
The Town of Bethany Beach most especially thanks Senator Tom Carper for his tireless advocacy on behalf of coastal Delaware!
