Just a little over a week after celebrating their five-year anniversary, Brimming Horn Meadery is expanding its footprint. Coming this fall, Brimming Horn Meadery will call downtown Seaford home as well. At their meeting on Tuesday July 12, 2022, Seaford City Council approved a lease agreement with Brimming Horn Meadery. The Milton based business will be opening a second facility in the property at 106 Spring Street. The facility will serve in a similar capacity to their current Milton property as a tasting room, but Seaford will be their main production facility, for both locations.
Jon Talkington, Brimming Horn’s founder/President, and his business partner Robert Walker Jr. have over 20+ years is the craft beer industry. “As a Seaford resident I'm very excited to bring the Brimming Horn Meadery to the town,” said Jon Talkington. “We look forward to joining the community and bringing our unique handcrafted meads, ciders, and fruit wines to everyone. We hope this location becomes a regular hangout for friends, neighbors, and travelers to share drinks, music, and fun just like our Milton location.”
The city is looking forward to adding this experiential destination to our already thriving downtown. Mayor David Genshaw said “We are super excited to welcome Brimming Horn Meadery to downtown Seaford. Their award-winning meads will be a draw for our entire area, having a positive economic impact for all. I want to thank everyone who was involved to make this happen, a true team effort.”
