First State Compassion Donates 160 Thanksgiving Turkeys to Employees, Patients and Local Charity

“Thanksgiving is as much about giving back as it is about gathering together with loved ones. This donation is one way we like to recognize the employees, patients and community that have shown us such support. We are thankful for all of them.” – Mark Lally, First State Compassion CEO

First State Compassion (FSC) is donating 160 Thanksgiving turkeys this holiday season. This is the second year for FSC’s Turkey Donation program.
Pictured here is Louise Lewis, FSC Manager of Patient Engagement & Education. She’s one of the team members managing the distribution of the holiday meal favorite to employees and patients at the organization’s medical cannabis dispensary locations in Wilmington and Lewes as well as patients in FSC’s Michell Reed Terminal Illness Program.
Shepherd’s Office, a faith-based shelter program in Georgetown, DE, that helps the homeless, hungry, or lonely, will also receive several donated turkeys for their food kitchen.
