Dr. Rajiv Dhawan joins TidalHealth Cardiology in Seaford | Delaware State Chamber of Commerce

TidalHealth is pleased to welcome Rajiv Dhawan, MD, MRCP, to TidalHealth Cardiology in Seaford, Del. He specializes in interventional cardiology.

Dr. Dhawan received his medical degree from the University College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India, and completed his internal medicine residency at Safdarjang Hospital, Dr. Ram Monahar Lohia Hospital and Patel Chest Institute, all also in New Delhi, India.

Dr. Dhawan completed post-graduate studies in internal medicine and cardiology in the Oxford Health Region and the Leeds Health Region, both in England. He completed his internal medicine residency at Allegany/Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa., and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Geisinger Health Systems in Danville, Pa. Dr. Dhawan completed an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology at Lankenau Hospital at Thomas Jefferson University in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Dhawan is board-certified in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography and vascular medicine. He is an affiliate to the American College of Cardiology and a diplomat to the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Dhawan is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in the United Kingdom.

When Dr. Dhawan is not treating patients, he enjoys doing charity work in India, biking, squash, traveling and reading.
